SENATOR KENNEDY

I saw on the news this morning that Senator Ted Kennedy passed away. May he rest in peace with God's grace.

The jack asses at FOS were making fun of him in their latest post. He and his family have done much good for this country.

I fear this is the end of a great American Dynasty, to be replaced by the Bush dynasty.....

Rest in Peace Senator Kennedy, you fought bravely for this country, "For me, this is a season of hope, New hope — and this is the cause of my life — new hope that we will break the old gridlock and guarantee that every American — North, South, East, West, young, old — will have decent, quality health care as a fundamental right and not a privilege."

I saw the FOS posting. It was written while Senator Kennedy was still living. I'm sure they will have another more respectful post later.

That post is dated today and he died last night. Splitting hairs, maybe, but he has been quite sick for some time. He has made great strides in the senate for many years and she continues to dwell on an accident 40 years ago. The rest of the post is about the president's vacation. He is taking a week off after seven months of hard work. I think he deserves it. As you recall Bush took his first August off. The whole month. Then we were attacked 9/11.

I deleted 2 posts because there were 3 identical posts made at the same time, only the duplicates were removed.

Good grief, why don't some of you give it a rest. The man had an accident, the young lady died, and he wasn't charged. Now you want to turn him into a Saint.

Six days later, sounds like someone finally has awoken from her celebratory hangover after Roger’s ejection.

Love the new website, by the way.

The Kennedy dynasty is fading fast, what with Carolyn still with us (thank God)! I've always heard we won't find out everything about JFK's assassin until they have all passed. Probably someone's conspiracy "thang".

May our prayers be with the Kennedys. God bless. RIP Ted!

Hmm wonder if you cowards would be writing such nasty scathing remarks over the last month if we all knew who you were...

Erika doesn't know which party he/she belongs to, so it's unlikely that we'll see any contrition from that corner.

I LOVE the Coffey plan for the sewers. Just read about it at CFA's website.

Roger,

I only saw 300 or 400 people at your business Saturday night.

Hope your business fails. (wink)

NYTimes article: Big Banks Pay Back Bailout Money; US Sees Profit.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/31/business/economy/31taxpayer.html?_r=1&hp

So we avoided another great depression AND we taxpayers are earning a profit on the money we loaned to the banks. Wow, thanks President Obama!

Vicki, can you clarify CFA's position on vacant lots? Do you want one more vacant lot on each block, or two?

What are your plans for removing the houses? Do you plan on cutting firefighting staff until everything burns to the ground? Do you plan on cutting code enforcement until everything riots and falls to the ground? Or do you just want to use economic development money to bulldoze random houses?

Why do you work so hard for those out of town landlords? Hope they pay you well to be their front man.

Shirley,
I appreciate this great forum you have created that allows people to call into question peoples mental health.

I assume it's the same person that passes on my NAC comments to a computerless former council president that enjoys prank calling.

It seems to be that Matthew is referring to the earlier post where someone called him Bipolar. Follow the chain of events and read your comments.

I am sorry Matt, I missed the bipolar comment, it has been removed.
