As you know, our neighbors in Henryville and Marysville have lost everything. Valla Ann Marcus is collecting canned goods, blankets, etc. and will have these items delivered. If you can help please take your donated items to the Admiral Bicknell In, 600 E. Main St, or call 981-8000 if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Shirley

WHAS11- Indiana State Police have asked those looking to volunteer not come to Henryville or other damaged areas in Indiana. Instead they are asking those individuals to call the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED CROSS.
The Red Cross has stated that monetary donations would be the most helpful; however donations of food and clothing are being accepted at the Sojourn Community Church in New Albany, all Louisville ValuMarket locations and the KFC Yum! Center before the Jimmy Buffet concert (starting at 5 p.m.). Kroger is accepting monetary donations, and those can be added to your final grocery bill.
Lisa Roedemeier is working with Indiana and Kentucky veterinarians to provide pet care and board for injured and displaced animals. She can be reached at (502) 807-5887.
thank you for the information
